Just chilling ;)

Kylie loves to set up her own props and pose for pictures... as long as it is her way. I don't mind... I love to take pictures... so I'll let her be creative too. She rates her own pictures with two thumbs up!
Big sister's and very proud of it!!!

Claire thinks Kylie's crunching noises are quite interesting. She never did figure out that she could eat the sucker. She just shook and shook it like crazy after the first taste... just enough to get sticky from head to toe!

Oh my... Kylie took a bite of her sucker! Is that ok?!? Can you believe how big my girls are getting! Can't get over it! Kylie and Katelyn are so into their baby sister, Claire. They just talk and play with her all the time. Claire loves it too... she actually doesn't sleep during the day. She sleeps for 1-2 hours all day long... if I am lucky. She will only go to sleep when Kylie and Katelyn lay down for nap. She does still sleep all night long, so I don't mind at all. Should be interesting when she figures out how to get around by crawling on her own! The girls are so cute with Claire though, if she cries, they run over and try to make her smile! It actually works most of the time! If not, they come tell me to give her milk or change her diaper. They never want her to go to sleep. They think she is great entertainment. What more could I ask for?!?! Ok.. mabye some time to get the chores done... who am I kidding... I wouldn't do chores... I'd come up with another project to do with the girls :)

Claire got a taste of her first lolipop today. We were talking photos for Papa and I decided to give them lolipops to play with. She took a couple of licks and then started to shake it. She was sticky from head to toe!!!

All three girls with their lolipops. They had been asking for these lolipops for weeks, so I finally gave in.

CHEESE!!!

We have had a wonderful time these past few weeks. Need to post more photos, but Jim has the laptop with all the pictures, so these will have to do for now! We travelled to Milwaukee, WI for Lola's wedding. The car ride was very long. Supposed to take 7 hours, but took us more like 9 1/2 each way. Such a long time for all three girls to be stuck in car seats. They did very well though! They loved the skyline in Chicago, and got a kick out of the fact that we were on the other side of Lake Michigan from our camping trip to the Warren Dunes a few months ago. Kylie said she could see the campsite... but I am pretty sure that her eyes are not sharp enough to see all the way across Lake Michigan :) Lola's wedding was beautiful and tons of fun. We rolled into Milwaukee, WI just in time to get checked into the hotel and changed before running to the rehersal. The girls were great and just hung out all night. They got so tired at the rehersal dinner, so we pushed chairs together to make beds for them and covered them with table cloths. It was very funny to watch people walk by... stop and back up... look at the girls and then start laughing. People couldn't believe that all three of our girls fell asleep in a private room of a restaurant. It was great! Until we had to take them to the car to get back to the hotel :) The wedding day was great. Jim took all three girls to the Farmer's Market and got them dressed and to the wedding, then took care of them all night too! Kudos to Jim.. he won Father of the Year award for that weekend alone! I spent the day with Lola, as I was the Matron of Honor. We had great fun! The wedding was absolutely beautiful. The girls danced and danced... then fell asleep... so we put them to sleep on chairs and covered them with table cloths... again :) Our 1am exit was not very graceful as we had 3 crying kids :) A bit over tired. The trip home was surprisingly great. They slept until we hit Chicago stop and go traffic. But we made it home and have recouperated.

Kylie and Katelyn started preschool last week. They are doing great. Kylie goes 4 days a week and Katelyn goes 2 days. They love it! It is very nice to have two days a week with just Claire.. .good grocery shopping days :)

Other than that, we have been enjoying life. We had a nice visit with Mike and Holly on their drive thru to Hilton Head Island. Claire and Cori got to play. It was very cute to watch them play. They are only 6 weeks apart. Cori was crawling around, so we'll see how long it take Claire to catch on and try crawling for herself!

Hope all is well with everyone!
