So here are a ton of picture from the last week of October. I have about 50 more but I was afraid it wouldn't post if I uploaded too many. I hope you enjoy and I will try to make another blog before the end of November :)
Happy Halloween! This is going to be a very long post. I owe pictures, so here we go. Enjoy!
Here Katelyn is being silly. Her newest thing is to stick out her tongue and make a silly face. You'll see that in the pictures. She is my silly one for sure!
Kylie and Katelyn love Halloween. I think we dressed up and painted faces 5 or 6 different times. Katelyn always dressed up as Tinkerbell... but then this is the third year in a row... yes.... third year in a row... that she has worn the same Tinkerbell outfit for Halloween. Eventually it will be too small and she will have to move on... I hope! Kylie couldn't decide what to be. She wanted to be a Rainbow Princess Tiger again this year, but I made her pick something different. She was wearing witch dresses until I told her she was dressed as a witch, not a princess as she thought. So, she kept changing her mind. I told her she could wear any of the dress up stuff... so she got creative...
Claire obviously didn't want to be a devil. She is much more of a princess :)
Claire and Mommy... Couldn't decide which of the three I liked better, great job taking pictures Jim. :)
My sweet Claire Bear...
She has such pretty blue eyes! I just hope they stick around.
Kylie and Katelyn went trick or treating at Kings Island. They loved it as it was the best of all worlds... candy... dress up... face paint... and rides! Here they are riding on one of the rides at Kings Island.
Claire loved Kings Island too... but not for the dress up, face paint and rides... she loved the little pumpkin she got to pick out! She shook it... dropped it... threw it... and tried to eat it. She played with that little pumpkin for almost 2 hours! Cheap entertainment :)
So, Kings Island had this great area for Halloween. There was even a dance floor with music playing. The girls had a blast dancing with Jim. They even got to touch the disco ball... Tinkerbell "flew" up to touch it! :)
Kylie was all smiles... after all... Kings Island is her favorite!
Dance.. dance... dance... Doesn't matter where you are... if there is Daddy and music, you'll catch Kylie dancing with her Daddy!
Up... up and away! Kylie had to touch the disco ball too... but she forgot her "witch" wings... so Daddy had to help her up!
What Kings Island Halloween Fest would be complete without a bubble party?!?! Claire wasn't exactly sure what to do with the bubbles. She just kind of stared at them. Then she went back to the stroller and played with her baby pumpkin more!
After going thru the bubbles with Mommy, Katelyn wasn't too sure it was as much fun as she bargained for... she noticed her pants were wet from the knees down. I guess she didn't realize that bubbles contain... water!
Katelyn decided the bubbles were ok. I thought for sure she would be running thru and splashing around, but she just kind of squished them for a minute and was done. Too cold for bubbles probably. Didn't help that Kylie wouldn't go near them and was kind of freaking out. Kylie wouldn't even touch them when we brought them out on our hands. She cracks me up sometimes.
Bubbles... bubbles... everywhere!!!
Bubble parties are great fun!!!! And very slippery! Katelyn did make it all the way thru on her feet though!
So, Scooby Do has been the newest obsession in our house lately, so imagine the excitement when they got to hug Scooby! They were so excited! Kylie ran over without even waiting in line. It took a good minute to convince her to move out of the way to let others get their pictures taken before she could go say hi. Then when it was her turn, she hugged Scooby and stood there for the longest time, just smiling. She kept telling me to take her picture... I guess she wanted to make sure I got 20 or 30 shots! Katelyn loved it too, but was a bit more aprehensive, as I don't think she expected Scooby to be so tall!
The girls were all about taking pictures all around Kings Island. I think they had more fun trick or treating at Kings Island in the middle of October than they did on Halloween night!
My girls and I... Claire was trying to eat the tree... I call her sticky fingers now, because anything within a foot or so radius of her seems to attach to her hands magically! And then it flies into her mouth... Go figure! It is great fun though! She has helped me improve my reflexes greatly by all the practice catching things she bats down and tosses!
Claire picked out her very own pumpkin. This is the one that she chewed on for a few hours. She could have probably sat in that mini pumpkin patch for hours tasting all the pumpkins. She is getting such a little personality on her. I love it!
What can I say... you dress Kylie up like a "princess" and she is all smiles... especially if you add in face paint! She'll do just about anything I ask of her if I paint her face. :) She was sitting next to Claire trying to get her baby sister to laugh.
Claire thinks Kylie is very interesting. She always has a very inquisitive look on her face when she watches Kylie. Kylie is so full of energy all of the time and just bounces everywhere... literally! So Claire just watches and watches her!
Katelyn is my little Mommy. Always trying to keep Claire happy and smiling. Any little squeal and Katelyn goes running to her baby sister. They adore each other and I catch them playing all the time. Their favorite thing to do is play "dolly house." They have a little people house and lots of dolls. They just pass them back and forth and Katelyn tells Claire where to sit all the dolls and which ones are Mommies and babies. It is too cute to watch the different relationships that are developing between my three girls.
Claire... she's so... Claire! Smiles, smiles all the time. They are so contagious! I love how happy my little bear is! All I have to do is say her name and she giggles.
These are pictures of Kylie and Katelyn with their friends at school for their Halloween Parade. This picture has their friend Elsa. They enjoyed playing in the leaves together after the parade. Elsa lives a few houses away from us, so we get to play with Elsa all of the time and the girls love it!
Yep... I told you she likes to stick out her tongue now... you say "smile Katelyn" and this is what you get. What a goof! She is definetly my goofy one! She is always good for a laugh!
I do happen to catch her smiling still... just have to keep taking pictures of the tongue, and then if you keep snapping... you can catch her laughing about it when she finally puts it back in her mouth! She actually asked for her picture to be taken by this tree. I must take pictures of them too often as the ask me constantly to take their picture now. If only I had enough memory space on my computer!
This is Kylie with her classmates Lily and Sabrina. They were singing a cute little song for the parents after the parade. She loves being in the Rocket class! By the way... this day she dressed up as... to quote Kylie... "Tinkerbell for Halloween.. because Tinkerbell likes to dress up too and she doesn't always want to be purple and green."
This is Kylie's whole Rocket class. Too cute to see them all dressed up and sitting together!
This is Katelyn and Elsa. Can you tell they are best friends? Believe it or not they were born only a few days apart! I can't wait to see how their friendship flourishes in the next few years!
This is Katelyn's Sunshine class. She decided to be stubborn for some reason... she wouldn't smile... just kept her arms folded and wouldn't do the songs... she said "Cause I didn't wanna."
I have video of Katelyn doing this... not singing or doing any of the motions for the parade. She just sat there like a princess stuck in a castle. Little pouty face and staring at all of the other kids singing and laughing. Totally out of character for her, but it sure was funny! I think it was a little overstimulating for her! :) But she said he had alot of fun!
Kylie loved all of the songs and motions. She didn't skip a beat. She was singing so loud I could her her across the room!
Katelyn did smile on the walk into the room at the begining of the parade. Maybe she thought it was going to be a dance party or something? ;)
This is Katelyn walking in with her classmates. I got a big smile when she saw me sitting there. :)
This is Kylie walking in the parade at school. She was glowing and having so much fun! They sang us songs and waved at us. How much fun is school! I love it!

Happy Halloween! This is a picture of Kylie and Katelyn at school right before their big Halloween Parade. They were very excited to dress up in their Halloween outfits at school!

Happy Birthday to Grandpa too. Kylie loves sharing her birthday with her Grandpa. It is so special to have their birthday on the same day. The girls loved being able to share their new Smart Cycle with Grandpa. They would have Grandpa here every weekend if they could!

Kylie is FIVE!!! I cannot believe my baby is 5!!! How time flies! She is on top of the world now. She is just so happy to be a big five year old. She is a great big sister to Katelyn and Claire. And she loves school! She is trying so hard to learn to read and write. She asks every question about anything she can think of. I love how inquisitive she is!

All in all, it was a wonderful October, although it went way too quickly! I am looking forward to a great November and a very magical December!
