Yes... it isn't February, it's May, but I wanted to send out some pictures from a few months ago and try to catch up to May, so these pictures and captions are a few months old, but I hope you enjoy them anyways!

So it has been way too long since my last blog, guess I have been napping too much :) LOL! This is actually one of those very rare times I actually fell asleep during the day, and Jim snapped a picture. We have had a very busy year! We have friends over to play almost everyday. It is amazing how our life has changed in the past 2 years since moving out of the red house. We used to have only a few friends that actually had kids, and now our lives are swarming with other kids for our girls to play with. We are loving every minute of it! Here are a few moments from our February...

So Claire is a little squirt... as you can tell. She decided to "read" my newspaper. Unfortunately no one else was able to read it when she was done! LOL!

This is the group of kids that we play with almost daily! They are all about the same age... Kylie, Leah and Logan are 5. Katelyn, Abby and Ryan are 3. And both Claire's are turning 1 soon! Lewei likes to think he's one of the kids too!

Claire loves to see the pictures I have taken on my camera screen. She is very serious about getting a peek and most times won't give me a chance to take a few pictures of her before she climbs on my lap to see the pictures. She is such a character!

Katelyn is such a big girl now. She is in the Sunshine class in preschool and trying to learn to write her letters. She hasn't quite figured out which hand to use. She mostly uses her left hand, but switches to her right every once in awhile. May be a leftie like her Uncle Jay!

Sweet Abby! She loves her holiday clothes! She loves to be silly for the camera, as you can see!
Leah and Abby are like sisters to my girls. They come over almost every day. We have sleep overs almost weekly. They play and fight just like sisters. I love every minute of it! Leah and Abby can be here for over 24 hours, and they all cry when it's time to go. They give hugs and kisses until you peel them away from each other... usually crying that it wasn't long enough. Too sweet!

Kylie is 5 and 1/2 already! How did my baby get so big?!?! She loves her Tinkerbell toys, as does Katelyn. She is also very creative in many ways. She loves to make "something out of nothing" as she says. And she loves to set up different poses for the camera. I love to see what she is going to come up with throughout the day.

Logan and Ryan come to play alot too. Poor things are stuck in a world of dollies, barbies, ponies and magic wands. Every once in a while they find something that isn't too girlie to play with, but most of the time they just play with anything they can find. Here they were pretending to put out the fire in my fireplace. They are too sweet!

My sweet little blue eyed Claire. She is getting such a personality! And trying to figure out how to walk. She surfs everything, so I am sure she'll figure it out soon!

Kylie loves to dress up. Her teachers asked me if she is always acting like a girlie princess or if it is just a show for school. Nope, it's just Kylie... or should I say Princess Kylie. She loves anything girlie and won't touch things that might be a little "boyie" (as she says). My sweet little princess.

Ryan has so much energy! I guess it is probably because I am not used to having boys around. My house rules... no fighting, no hitting, no wrestling.... Ryan asked me "Why can I do anything?!?" Boys, I tell you! :) It is so much fun to see the interaction between the boys and girls. They are so different from one another. I guess if I can't produce a boy, at least I can enjoy the girls friends who are boys... until they start wanting to date... then no more boys in the house! We'll have a sign on the door that says "NO BOYS ALLOWED! (Except for Daddy)" We'll see how that goes!

Logan loves magic wands. I don't quite understand the facination with the magic wands, but the kids love them! Everyday it is a mad rush to see who can get a magic wand. They play with them all day long too. It's a fight to get them to let go of them to eat lunch most days! At least they are using their imagination and giving me a good laugh!

Sorry, forgot to flip this, but it takes forever to download pictures, so it will work for now. This is Leah and Claire. Claire loves Leah to pieces... and Leah loves Claire to pieces! Everytime Leah comes over, Claire starts squealing and shaking from excitement! It's too cute!

So this February we got quite a bit of snow. Having a bunch of kids over, naturally the adults brought more kids over and we ended up with a neighborhood snowball making party in my backyard. The kids had a huge snowball fort for weeks before they finally melted away. They loved playing in it! Mark even provided sled rides! Needless to say, he was a bit tired after a few hours of running the kids around the flat yard in the sled! We ended the wonderful day with hot chocolate (spiked with Kaluha for the adults)!

This is a picture of the kids enjoying the giant snowballs. They pretended they were on a train, a bus and in a castle. I am sure it was many more things I didn't hear about, but they had a blast with it!

All in all, February was great fun, but exhausting! Claire can attest to that! She fell asleep one day on the floor in the middle of all the other kids playing. Must have worn her out! :)
I hope you enjoyed sharing some of my February memories. I look forward to many more to come!
